Don’t have a grill? Me neither! Rest assured, you can still enjoy delicious barbecue creations without one. These slow cooker paleo dinner recipes will bring all of the fantastic flavors of the grill to your next BBQ dinner party.
This is a solid paleo pulled pork recipe! The rub and the sauce come together to make a sweet, smoky and spicy tasting pork that is incredibly tender. I like to make this recipe spicier by adding a minced jalapeño into the BBQ sauce prior to turning the slow cooker on. I really appreciated Nora’s unique combination of ingredients for her non-traditional coleslaw with radicchio, apples, carrots, and cilantro. I thought that this was very creative. I do, however, prefer to trade out the onions with chives.
2. BBQ Paleo Chicken Wings by Taylor Kiser of Food, Faith, Fitness
This is my favorite chicken wing recipe right now because of the technique that Taylor uses to cook them. You put the wings in the slow cooker and finish them in the broiler. This gives you perfectly tender yet very crispy chicken wings without ever needing to fry them! I love that. However, I do prefer the barbecue sauce from A Clean Bake a bit more.

Bourbon and BBQ sauce go hand-in-hand especially when it goes on ribs or, in this case, brisket. I love Gina Eykemans recipe because it’s gluten-free and paleo-friendly! I do like to add minced onion and ⅛ teaspoon dry mustard to the Bourbon Spiked BBQ Sauce as well. I use fresh minced garlic instead of granulated garlic too. If you do this, add the garlic when you put the meat in the slow cooker for the best result.
