I scoured Instagram and YouTube to discover the most fun, festive, and approachable 4th of July makeup looks! Whether you’re throwing a party or just going to watch the fireworks at your local park or beach, there’s a look for whenever you’re going! These were my three favorite finds.
1. 4th of July Eyeshadow Tutorial by Sydney Elise.
This look is the most bold and vibrant of the three that I’ve selected. Sydney uses a beautiful red shade called “Life” and a stunning blue shade called “Rise Up” from the 25 L palette by Morphe Cosmetics. The palette is gorgeous and totally summer appropriate!
I’m especially intrigued by the shades: 1978, Liberation, Harmony, Healing, Make Magic, and Peace. Unfortunately, if you’re looking to buy it, it’s currently sold out.
2. Fourth Of July Half Cut Crease Eye Makeup Tutorial by Angela Bright.
This look has just the right amount of sparkle. I love that Angela keeps her tutorials short and simple. The sparkly royal blue color that she uses to tie the look together is from City Color Cosmetics and is no longer being sold. If you’re looking for a comparable color, I suggest trying out MAC Cosmetics Glitter in either the color “Cerulean” or “Reflects Purple Duo.”
3. Fourth of July Makeup Tutorial by Taylor Mobley.
Not digging the sparkles? I love this matte, natural and sophisticated look! Taylor uses the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil from Urban Decay in the color “Chaos” to give the look more of a pop without the glitter.
