If you live in #BurlingtonVT chances are good that you’ve heard the buzz about @goldrestaurantvt, and we finally got around to trying it for ourselves! 4 pals, 5 mains, 2 apps, & a few drinks later, here’s my honest review of Gold. 🌟

Pork Belly: crispy pork belly with chili roasted butternut squash, dark cherry, & balsamic agrodolce + dressed arugula. I thought that the sides left something to be desired, but the pork belly…OMG. Thick SLAB, perfectly crispy on the outside & buttery soft on the inside, plus the cherry was a nice flavorful touch! It added a nice sparkle of sweet & sour to the richness of the meat. 🍒

Crispy Eggplant & Pici: Crispy fried eggplant with fresh pici pasta, sautéed mushrooms, chilis, kale, & scallions in a tamari sesame sauce. Our friend Mark ordered this and said that it was really good! I tried a piece of his pasta and the favor was super good.

@jenyeefromtheblock got the classic burrata…her official review, “I liked the mix of textures. Nice acidic dressing to contrast with the buttery burrata and peppery arugula. Light but substantial.”

Thai Chili Mussels: fantastic flavor and served with a piece of bread to sop up the juice (believe me it’s so good that you’ll want too…)

I didn’t get a picture of some of the other dishes, but these seemed to be most noteworthy! As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, there’s a musty smell when you walk in, but once you get past this the atmosphere is pretty cozy and quaint. Where should we try next? ☺️ #BeTrueToYou

This was the most beautiful, eye-opening, healing,

This was the most beautiful, eye-opening, healing, and profoundly transformative experience of my entire life. I went into it a true skeptic and came out of it a firm believer. I knew about this medium for 5 years and never pulled the trigger…either it wasn’t the right time or I wasn’t emotionally ready. I knew that it was finally the right time after the summer of 2024.

I couldn’t possibly cram the whole hour long experience into the 3-minutes of this reel, but I am happy to share the ENTIRE story with literally anyone who is curious about the process or is also looking for help with grief. After my best friend’s step-father came through, this medium told me things to validate it was truly my grandmother on the other side communicating. These are things that nobody (not even my closest family and friends) would ever know or be able to make any sense of. I was able to get messages regarding how I can protect myself and my family. I even got messages and direction regarding my future. My grandmother is here guiding me, helping me, protecting me, and up until now I thought she was gone forever. How healing it is to know that she never left me, and that she recognizes all that I have done and will do in future.

If I can help someone out of their grief that would really be the honor and priviledge of a lifetime. I am happy to tell you the story, and give you the contact information for the medium that I saw. Your passed on loved ones will always be here with you, and they love you so much. I am sending my love as well! Let’s add a little more light to an otherwise very dark world. ☀️🕊️💕 #BeTrueToYou

Wanna get messy? Usually, I don’t, which is why I typically shy away from fajitas. However, @puertovallartausa in #StamfordCT offers great service, tasty food & good drinks in a trendy atmosphere. It was a little weird that they give you tortillas in a paper bag but, regardless, the shrimp fajitas were delicious! It’s also a lot of food, so be prepared for leftovers this Valentine’s Day! 💖🍤 #BeTrueToYou

It’s close by to SNHU arena if you’re going to a show and looking for a great restaurant to have dinner at after. ☺️ #BeTrueToYou
