3 Paleo Breakfast Smoothies Loaded with Healthy Fats

It seems like the last thing you’d want to do, especially after years of dietary fads which practically glorified low-fat, reduced-fat, or no-fat foods. But, we now know that one of the best ways to lose weight in a healthy way is by incorporating a variety of healthy fats into your diet.

Especially the keto diet in particular which focuses on eating a high-fat, moderate protein and low-carb diet. However, the paleo diet focuses on consuming meat, fish, vegetables and fruits with no dairy, grains or processed food of any kind.

All of these recipes are very delicious, quick and easy! These smoothies can also improve the appearance of your hair, skin and nails if you commit to any of these recipes on a regular basis for a couple of months. Best of all, they’ll give you the energy you'll need to get through the morning without a cup of coffee (which often leaves you feeling dehydrated). These recipes will help you to stay super healthy, hydrated and feeling refreshed for most of the day. 

1. Option #1

  • 1 cup coconut milk (I use homemade)

  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil

  • 1 tablespoon flax seed

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries

  • ¼ cup blueberries

  • 1 handful of spinach

  • ½ of an avocado

  • ½ teaspoon PaleoGreens Dietary Supplement (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add the coconut milk

  2. Add the frozen fruit.

  3. Add the oil, flaxseed, blueberries, spinach, avocado, and PaleoGreens supplement.

  4. Blend on low for 30-seconds.

  5. Switch to high for 1 minute.

2. Option #2

  • 1 cup almond milk (I use homemade)

  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seed

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries

  • ¼ cup frozen cherries

  • ¼ cup blackberries

  • 1 handful of arugula

  • ½ of an avocado

  • ½ teaspoon PaleoGreens Dietary Supplement (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add the almond milk.

  2. Add the frozen fruit.

  3. Add the oil, hemp seed, blackberries, arugula, avocado and PaleoGreens supplement.

  4. Blend on low for 30-seconds.

  5. Switch to high for 1 minute.

3. Option #3

  • 1 cup hemp milk

  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup strawberries

  • 1/4 cup frozen mango

  • 1/4 frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 of an avocado

  • 1/2 teaspoon PaleoGreens Dietary Supplement (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add the hemp milk.

  2. Add the frozen fruit.

  3. Add the oil, chia seeds, strawberries, avocado, and PaleoGreens supplement.

  4. Blend on low for 30-seconds.

  5. Switch to high for 1 minute.

These creamy, fruity, and nutrient-dense smoothies not only give me the energy to start my day without coffee, but also have helped my body, hair, skin and nails to look so much healthier.
