Nourish Organic makes a “Pledge of Purity” stating that they do not put synthetic parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, artificial fragrances or preservatives, silicones, propylene glycol, mineral oils, sulfates, synthetic dyes, triclosan, EDTA, or aluminum in their products. This is a fantastic step-up considering many popular skincare products contain these horrible ingredients. I was lucky enough to find this product at T.J. Maxx for $5.00. It is currently sold on Nourish Organic’s website for $16.99.
I spent much time in the aisle researching the ingredients. After confirming that all of the ingredients didn’t pose potential health hazards, I made the purchase. I’m currently in the process of purging my home of all crappy skincare products, so I don’t need anymore! 😜
This body butter smells divine—like fresh sugar cookies and vanilla frosting. It’s impressive considering it has no artificial fragrances to enhance the scent. The scent lingers for a decently long time and especially if it transfers onto your clothes.
This butter is not made entirely of Moroccan Argan Oil— it’s mixed with shea and coconut oils too. This reduces the overall cost for the brand to make the product.
The texture is similar to coconut oil when it’s not at room temperature. It’s very nourishing and really does improve the eczema flare-ups on my hands. It’s very gentle on my sensitive skin. I don’t get any redness from using it either.
I’ve used this product all over my body for soft and glowing skin that is deeply hydrated. It also works as a fantastic lip balm too!
I don’t like to use this product everyday because my skin will get a bit too oily—particularly in the summer. It’s very rich and a little bit will go a long way. I expect that I will be using it more frequently during the fall and winter months when my skin is begging for hydration!

My final thoughts?
I love this butter product! It’s a solid option for those with dry and sensitive skin—well worth the money. It’s retails at $16.99 for 5.2 ounces of product which is moderately expensive.
I, however, found mine at T.J. Maxx for a quarter of the price. I encourage you to do the same if you want to try it out! I’m kicking myself for not buying another one. I will definitely be going back soon to look for more!
