My best friend Cody kindly gave me the nighttime relax kit for my birthday last year. I’ve been experimenting with it since! This fully loaded kit is priced at $45 which is dirt cheap for therapeutic-grade and 100% pure essential oils. It comes with 4 oils including Bergamot, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Frankincense all of which are great for relaxation. The lavender oil (sourced from Bulgaria) is definitely my most loved of the collection!
Your kit also comes with a dropper bottle to make your own diffuser blend, a roller ball to make fragrance oils, fractioned coconut oil (MCT oil) and a funnel so there’s no mess.
There are all sorts of DIY recipe cards in this kit! These include recipes for the different oil combinations, pillow spray, bath bombs, bath soaks, lotion bars, bubble bath, and a luxurious sugar scrub.
Got all that? Wow! I’m still trying to get through them all. I love how many possibilities there are with this kit. 💗
The kit comes with a bit of information about the benefits of each oil too! This is very helpful for educating people about what each oil can promote. I personally love mixing 4 drops lavender and 2 drops bergamot in my diffuser.
I made a fragrance oil in the roller ball container consisting of fractionated coconut oil, lavender, bergamot, and ylang-ylang. It’s soft, floral, and very relaxing! I love putting it on before I go to sleep. The fractionated coconut oil is non-greasy, soaks into the skin nicely, and is an all-around good carrier oil.
In the dropper bottle, I combined ylang ylang, lavender, bergamot, and frankincense for what’s called the “Total Relaxation” blend on the recipe card.
There’s also a dilution guide which is helpful for knowing how much essential oils to use by method (diffuser or fragrance oil) and by age group as people under 12 years old are more sensitive to the oils.
Final Thoughts
I think that at $45 per kit with everything included it’s a beyond incredible value! You really can’t get much better at this price point. Vasseur Essentials uses some of the highest quality oils sourced from around the world in their products. Once you become a customer, there is also a rewards program for every $100 spend you will receive an extra $10 to spend on future purchases!
This kit is great for essential oils beginners who struggle with stress, anxiety, and insomnia. It has so much information regarding safety along with many fun and easy ways use your oils. I use mine every night before I go to sleep to help me wind down!
